Rhonda's sister, Laura, works for T. Boone Pickens. She is something along the lines of his personal accountant (an easy job, just take your financial statement and add a bunch of zeros at the end to match his, right?). After the Vice Presidential debates, Sarah and Todd Palin stopped by the office to discuss the Pickens Plan. The snapped the photo below. Speaking of Palin and family, my brother-in-law, who is in the Navy and serving on a submarine for 6-months mission, was able to come up for some fresh air in Singapore this week with my sister meeting him there. I never thought about this, but since he was underwater for several months already, he didn't know who Sarah Palin was or what she looked like. Crazy! He is supposed to complete his mission sometime around February, so it is quite possible that he won't know who won the Presidential Election until three months after the fact! Thank you, Blake, for serving our country!
