We went to Babe's for dinner tonight. The girls had a great time doing the hokey pokey. Reagan made a meal of mashed potatoes. We thought she was done and they took her plate, so then she decided to eat right out of the bowl!

We may not have it all together, but together we have it all!

We took the girls swimming at the gym this morning. They had a great time practicing their new skills. We then went to Wing Stop and had lunch.

When we got home tonight, there was a caterpillar in the garage. Jason picked it up on a Chiptole napkin and took it out onto the grass. The girls got to look at it and get a little nature lesson.

We went to Chiptole for supper and then I got to exercise self-control as Jason wanted ice cream. The girls really enjoyed it (and Daddy did, too!)

Rylee needed a backpack for preschool. We went to several places and everything was either too big or had a theme/character we were not thrilled with. We ended up at Pottery Barn Kids and found a really cute one that is a good size. It also has a matching lunchbox. We went ahead and bought that so she would have it for kindergarten. We are hoping this set will last for a few years. Jason and I each had one backpack all through high school, so we fully expect this one to last a while!

My youngest sister, Chelsey, was in a wreck on Lubbock Highway. She rear-ended one of those trucks that paints stripes on the highway. Luckily for her and the driver of the truck, the truck had one of those impact-cushion springboard thinga-ma-jigs on the back. Still, the car was really wrecked bad. Praise God that Chelsey was checked out at the hospital after an ambulance ride and she appears to be OK all things considered. She has cuts, bumps, and bruises (and a lower-leg in a boot), but the CAT scan of her head came back fine and X-rays for broken bones and seat belt injuries came back fine. I spoke to her this evening, and she was out of the hospital on her way to Taco Bell! The hospital staff was very surprised that she was not more seriously hurt or killed.

Crystal was in town this weekend and we had dinner with her. We went to Macaroni Grill and then spent time visiting at our house. It was great to see her!

Rylee learned about checkers from Clifford the Big Red Dog today. She asked me if I could play them with her and I told her to wait for Daddy. Jason got home and played with her. As you can see, Daddy threw his daughter to the wolves and made her be A&M! The bad news for Daddy is that A&M won!

Reagan is now officially 2 1/2! I thought it would be fun to compare what the girls looked like at this age.

Rhonda decided to try the new slide at GB's Lakehouse. She took the curve faster than she expected, and flailed her way down.
