Starting Off Christmas the Rough Way

Today, Reagan didn't eat her lunch very well. She complained about stomach pains, but we figured it was just gas :-) We arrived at GB's and Rhonda took Reagan in to the restroom while I brought Rylee in from the car. I walked into the restroom to see Reagan sitting on the throne with puke all over her and some on Rhonda. She has since thrown up again and dirtied two more pairs of panties. At least she made it into the restroom and out of the car. We hope she gets better real soon!

Visit with Santa

We have been procrastinating on our visit with Santa. We usually go to see him at Jason's work, but we missed it this year due to a scheduling conflict. We braved the mall today after church. We waited in line for over an hour, but it was worth it. We warned Rylee that if she cried, we would take her out and let Reagan be in the picture by herself. We don't need another crying picture with Santa! They both did great! You know you are in a digital age when you purchase your Santa picture on a flash drive!

Bears

Every Christmas since Rylee got her bear, we sneak in and put a new outfit on the bear so they wake up and see it first thing. This year, they really wanted dress up clothes, so Rylee's bear is Ariel and Reagan's bear is Tinkerbell. Being parents is so much fun!

Sonic Drinks

We typically do not eat in the car. I know, we are anal, but it works for us. Tonight, Jason decided he wanted a Sonic drink, and the girls did not want to be left out. We let them have water and they did great. It's a start, but I don't see any Big Red or anything like that in our future!

Raytheon Party

Raytheon's Christmas party was tonight.  Mark & Robin watched the girls so we could go.  It was a buffet dinner held at a hotel in Richardson.  We got to visit with several of his coworkers and had a nice time.

Reagan's First Haircut

My friend, Taryn, came over today and cut Reagan's hair. It was her first haircut and we just shaped it and evened everything up. We are hoping it will spur some growth!

As you can see, it had gotten a little out of control!
Very pretty girl!

As you can see, there was not a lot cut off. We saved a little curl for her baby book, I mean, her big girl book!

Caterpillar Class

The Caterpillar Class had their "winter party" and did a play for us.  It was really cute and the kids really seemed to have a good time.  Rylee was a snake and here is a picture of her teacher, Mrs. Akerley.  She seems to be a wonderful teacher for Rylee.

New Kitchen

Reagan came home from Pa Pa & Gran's and said, "Mommy, we got a new kitchen! It is so beautiful!" Of course, that made my day! Daddy was upset the she didn't even really notice the Christmas tree except to inform us we did not have a star on top!

GranBob gave me a set of dishes that I have wanted for a long time. I am so excited to have them and used them to decorate with. Thanks, GB!

We are going to be adding a Bible verse on the wall behind the table in the breakfast nook, but have to give the paint some time before we do that.
I found this chest and just thought it was so pretty.
Laura came over and helped me decorate and do some shopping. I'm sure Jason is glad it is over so I will stop spending money! It took him a while to warm up to the change, but now he says he likes it. I love it!

Bedtime x 4

Tonight we watched Kyla and Levi while Mark and Robin went to Mark's work party.  Getting four kids ready to bed is harder than I thought!  We got them all ready and I read them a book at bedtime.

Opening Dolls

As soon as we got home, the girls wanted to open their dolls.  They were both really excited, but I think Reagan was more fascinated than Rylee.  I think these babies are going to get some serious play time.
