Monday Morning, Yuck!

I would love just a few minutes to sleep in! No such luck. I'm in for another busy day. We got up and ready and headed to Target.

The boots for Reagan have turned into a major ordeal. I bought the first pair in Size 6. They were too big. I took them back and they did not have the same one in a Size 5. So, I exchanged for a different pair in Size 5. I got home and before I got to try them on her, Rylee decided to play with the clippers and cut the tag off. Of course, they were too small. So, today I got my nerve up and went to Target. I told them what happened and they were very nice to take them back even though the tag was cut off. I did still have the tag, so I think that helped. Also, Rylee apologized to the lady, so that had to help! I was able to get the same ones like Rylee's in a Size 5 and they fit great. We tried them on in the store this time to be sure.

Now, to Dillard's. Reagan's beautiful Christmas dress had a problem. On the front where the bodice meets the skirt, the seam was coming undone. I took it back and they exchanged it for me since it was a "manufacturer defect." They did not have the exact same dress in her size, but I was able to get the one like Rylee's in her size.

I then went to Talbot's to return two pairs of pants that I had gotten and then changed my mind.

We ate lunch at Chick-fil-a in the mall and were done there. We then went to Sam's to pick up the Christmas cards. They were supposed to be ready at 11 am and it was now 1:10 pm. I got the kids out, in the cold, and lugged them into Sam's. The cards were not ready. I went ahead and got the envelopes with hopes of working on them during nap time.

We went home and I put the kids down for naps. I worked on addressing the Christmas cards while they slept. After they woke up, we played a bit and then Daddy got home. I went to my Weight Watcher meeting. I have maintained my weight for 2 weeks now. 4 more to go. We then all met at Wing Stop for supper. Jason took the girls home, I went to Sam's and picked up the cards and stamps and put gas in the truck. I got home and helped Jason get the girls to bed.

Now it's time to stuff, stamp, and seal the cards. I had hopes of catching up on some of my shows while doing this, but Jason "had" to watch Heros. So, I had the joy of sitting through that with him while working on the cards.

They will go out tomorrow and I'm off to bed. Tomorrow looks a little easier!

Busy Weekend

Well, we are through the weekend and it has been crazy! We got up this morning and went to church. Jason and I had nursery duty in the 22 month old class. Then we went to our class and had a good lesson. We then went to Whataburger and picked up lunch and took it to Laura's. We ate with them and then left the girls there. Jason and I went to Toys R Us and Target to finish up our shopping for the kids. We picked the kids up, went to JC Penney to look for me some pants. Then, I dropped Jason and the kids off at home while I went to the grocery store. I got home, changed clothes, and was ready when our babysitter, Shanna, arrived. We then left to go to our Sunday School class party. We had a great time and enjoyed getting to visit with friends without the kids. We got home about ten and the kids were in bed and Shanna said they did great. We will definately have to use her again! What a day! It was very productive, now I just have to wrap those gifts. I think it can wait, I'm off to bed.

Christmas Card Pictures

It is always fun to get a picture for our Christmas card. For those of you without little ones, you may not appreciate what goes into getting that one "perfect" picture for the card. We met Bryce and Missy at On The Border for supper and then came back to our house. We took the pictures in front of our fireplace by the tree. I am not going to post the picture yet. Watch your mailboxes!

Pictures with Santa

Santa comes to Daddy's work every year and we were ready! It was so cold! We parked the car and rode in a trailer pulled by a truck to the main entrance. That was a little scary because I was holding Reagan and I was so scared she might fall. We made it in and went through all the security and were ready to get in line to see Santa. The had a guy playing the guitar and entertaining the kids. The girls really enjoyed that. Reagan got into it and was dancing and clapping her hands.
When we were in line, Rylee told us she was going to tell Santa she wanted a computer, roller skates, and crocs. She said she was not going to sit in his lap, but she would stand beside him and Reagan could sit in his lap. This is what happened...

After Rylee settled down, we went into the cafeteria area where we decorated and ate cookies.
Next, the girls colored cards to send to soldiers. Raytheon does a great job of supporting our military.
After all the fun, we decided to just walk back to the car. The truck and trailer didn't seem like such a good idea! We were freezing by the time we got there. We had a great time! Maybe next year we'll get a good picture with Santa...

AWANAS

Rylee had her last AWANAS meeting for the year tonight. They had a party and got to take their AWANAS bucks to the AWANAS store to buy little things. She had a lot of fun getting to spend her "money." The parties always make us nervous because you never know who made what and if they have nuts in them. But, we don't want her to feel left out. We were there and just carefully picked her treats. I am really glad we did AWANAS. I was hesitant to commit, but it has been so good for her and it is so sweet to hear her say her bible verses. What a blessing!

Boots

Rylee has been asking for boots for a while, so we decided to spend some of GranBob's money on that. We got a pair for each of the girls. We went ahead and let them open them tonight so they could enjoy them now. It was so much fun and I can't wait for Christmas! They were both too big, so I went back to Target after they were in bed. They did not have the same one for Reagan, so she is going to have something a little different, but at least we will be able to tell them apart this way.

They decided they should see if they could jump in them, so the next two are them each airborne.
