Reagan is liberated!

Rylee is spending the night with Skylar tonight. We have laughed and enjoyed Reagan so much today. The girl can talk!! We have been amazed at how much she is talking and laughing. She has been running around screaming and dancing. She loves being the center of attention. Maybe she needs a little more alone time. I hope Rylee is having a good time and I hope she went to sleep. We'll see. At least we have not gotten a call to come get her...yet!

Booster Seat

Rylee has been begging for a princess booster seat for quite a while. We have not gotten one because we didn't think she was old enough.


After starting AWANAS, we realized Jason needed to take Reagan home in one car while Rylee stayed at church with me.


So, I started the research process. I found a booster seat for 3 years and 30 pounds. Rylee fits that category, we off to Target we went. They no longer make the princess one like Skylar's, but they have a pink one with hearts. She liked that one and now Daddy gets to have a pink heart booster seat in his truck! He's a manly man, yes? Not so much with the pink booster seat. He just laughs and says our next dog has to be a boy. We'll see about that...

11th Anniversary

Saturday was our 11th Anniversary. I can't believe it has been 11 years! I don't remember life without Jason. He was my one of my best friends before he became my boyfriend and then husband. We took advantage of my family and let them keep the girls and we went out to Outback and Cold Stone Creamery to celebrate. We are blessed to be "living happily ever after!"

Reagan Time

While Rhonda and Rylee were at this semester's first children's choir and AWANAs session, I brought Reagan home so she could go to bed. I needed to take Reagan across the church parking lot in my truck to reach our Aviator, but my truck does not have car seats. It was a short distance, so I just buckled her in the back seat. She had fun. After moving Rylee's new booster seat from the Aviator to the truck, Reagan and I decided to have some time together sharing a Haagen-Dazs vanilla shake. She REALLY enjoyed it!

He did GREAT!!

We are back home and Jason did a great job! I just might let him surprise me again. Our friends, Brian and Beth, watched the girls and Jason took me to Bob's Steak and Chop House at The Shops at Legacy. I had a chopped tomato, onion & fresh mozzarella salad, filet mignon, sauteed mushrooms, smashed potatoes, and a glazed carrot. It was all wonderful and our service was great! But, the best part was dessert! Jason told them it was my birthday when he made the reservations. They brought us a brownie sundae. Here's their description from their website: a peanut butter & chocolate brownie with triple chocolate & peanut butter cup ice cream topped with pecan chocolate butter nut sauce, whipped cream and a cherry. It doesn't get much better than that!! I never get peanut butter now because of Rylee's allergy, so I really enjoyed it! We didn't even eat half of it, and it sure was hard to leave. It was a great day! Thanks, Jason, for making it so special.

What is he up to?

Today is my birthday. Jason told me to be ready at 5:15 because he has babysitting lined up and we are going out to dinner. That is all I know. If you know me, you know I don't like surprises. He has tried twice in the past, and it was not good. The first time was a lingerie shower. He pushed me in the door and left me crying. The second was Elvis singing to me in On The Border in Lubbock. All I can say about that one is thank goodness his original plan didn't work. Elvis was supposed to be singing to me on the Raider Vision at Jones Stadium! So, hopefully he learned his lesson! We'll see...

Children's Choir and Awanas

We got back home on Sunday night and I realized I missed the deadline to sign Rylee up for choir and Awanas at church. So, Monday morning I called and asked if there was any way they would let us register late. Luckily, the woman in charge took pity on me and told me if I would bring her paperwork up there before 3:00, she would let us register. So, off we went to church and Rylee is ready to go on Wednesday night to "hawanas."
