In San Angelo

We headed for San Angelo on Tuesday afternoon. The girls feel like they live in the car these days! We got to the lake and the girls were so happy to see GranBob. She had gotten some shoes for Reagan and some little animals for Rylee. Hopefully we can relax and have a good time while we are here.

In Lamesa

The girls and I rode to Lamesa with my parents on Monday. We went to visit Papa Earl & Mimi. Aunt Chelsey came down from Lubbock. We went to eat at Pedroza's and had a good visit. It was short, because Papa Earl and Mimi are headed back to Florida to work after hurricane Fay. The girls enjoyed their time and got some good hugs and kisses.

Now You See Her, Now You Don't

I put this side-by-side comparison together of the two photos in the previous blog post. Click on the photo to get a larger version. It is easier to see Rhonda's weight-loss pay off in her face and neck. Lucky for me, I get to see the rest of her that you don't ;-) . I'm extremely proud of her!

Before and After...

Today, Rhonda and I had our member directory photos retaken for our Sunday School class since we knew Rhonda had changed quite a bit since the original photo was taken in February. We were surprised with how much difference there is given her near 30-pound weight loss (not to mention a hair style change). I'm posting the before and after photos for comparison (click on the images for close-ups). I'm tremendously proud of her! Don't worry about my personal changes -- my pecs are now huge under my shirt...(crickets chirping)

Movie Star??

My podiatrist was being interviewed for a show called Hot On Health and Beauty recently. She was talking about the Podiatherm procedure that I had done earlier this year. She needed a patient to interview with her, and she asked me to do it. I was very reluctant, but I really like her, so I decided to do it. So, here is the video of the finished product. It turned out better than I expected.

IHOP

One of the treats about being with Pa Pa is going out for breakfast. We went to IHOP and the girls got to have pancakes. I was good and had an English muffin, but it sure was hard to be good! We had a great time and then sent him on to Arkansas with instructions from Rylee to give Gran a big hug. We can't wait to see her on Sunday when they are headed home.

Pa Pa is here!

My mom has been in Arkansas taking care of her sister who had surgery to remove a mass on her liver. We are so thankful it was not cancerous. We are praying for a quick recovery. My dad is headed there to pick her up, so he spent the night with us. He picked Skylar up at day care and met us at Chick-fil-a for lunch. The girls were so happy to see their Pa Pa. I think Rylee was happier to see Skylar, but Reagan went right to Pa Pa and snuggled in his lap for a while. They gave the girls balloons and we had a great time.
