This past weekend, we celebrated the birthday of our good friend, Jack. He had friends and family over to his in-laws' house for a swim party and cookout. While there, Rylee got up the nerve to jump into the pool from the side by herself and go under the water. What really surprised us was when she decided to jump in from the side that is several feet above the water. With this progress, we're hoping that she'll be willing to go down the slide at the lake house the next time we visit (it, too, is several feet to fall to the water). Here are photos from the party and a couple of videos at the end, one of which is video of Rylee jumping from the tall edge.

Toy Story 3
We took the girls to see Toy Story 3. This is the first time we have taken them to the movies. Rylee has been one time with Aunt Laura and Skylar. We had a great time.

My Dream Dress
While at the mall, we saw this dress at Bebe. No matter how hard I tried, Rhonda wouldn't buy it. I really don't know how you're supposed to wear this.

Family Time
We got to have supper with family at BJ's Brewhouse before Pa Pa, Gran, & GranBob left for a trip to Maine. I snapped a quick picture as we were leaving.

Rylee's Haircut
Rylee has been wanting to cut her hair off. I was against this, but finally compromised with her.

She loves it.
Reagan had fun sitting in the chair dreaming of the day when she will need a haircut!

Cleaning Out
After being at the farm last week helping GranBob and my parents clean things out and getting things moved, I came home with a few treasures. Of course, that means finding a place for these things. I have a large cabinet above my microwave that seems to catch all my crystal among other things. It has always been a pretty big mess. I went to the Container Store (a favorite for anal people like me!) and got a few shelves to put in the cabinet. After about an hour of work and $14, I feel much better.
