New Zealand Goodies

Aunt Ashley and Uncle Blake went to New Zealand on vacation and sent the girls t-shirts. Rylee also got a pair of ladybug earrings from one of Aunt Ashley's students at the school where she taught. Thanks, Aunt Ally and Uncle Blake! We love you!

Stomach Virus, Part 2

Wednesday night, I took Rylee to church for choir and AWANAS. Reagan and I went and met Jason at Fuddrucker's for supper and then we all came home. After we got the kids to bed, we sat down to watch Lost and we both had a little upset stomach. We watched Lost and then went to bed. We were not there long before it hit. We both had a stomach virus. We were both up all night taking turns in the bathroom. On Thursday morning, I got up with the girls and fed them some breakfast. Jason and I had decided to switch off and let each other rest as much as possible. When I got up, we discussed how thankful we were that the girls were not sick...famous last words! Rylee ate her breakfast and was standing in the living room and she started throwing up. So, now 3 out of 4 of us had it. It was a miserable day at our house. Reagan was the only well one and she did not take very good care of us! So, while Jason, Rylee, and I sat around and were feeling terrible, Reagan tried to get into everything she possibly could! We survived and are feeling better today.

Our Sweet Rylee

We were sitting in Chiptole tonight and a woman came in on crutches. One of her legs had been amputated. Rylee kept looking at her and started asking Jason questions. She said, "Daddy, look, that lady broke her leg. What happened, is she okay?" Jason tried to explain that she may have been in an accident and hurt her leg. We were about to pray for our food and Rylee wanted to do it. "Dear God, please help that lady over there. She really needs a new leg because she broke hers off. Amen"

"Before And After" - Siblings

My mom sent some old photos from my high school graduation back with Rhonda and the girls. It was fun comparing photos of my siblings and I then and now. My sisters are still the crazy ones, we have the photographic evidence here to prove it.

King George

My sweet hubby bought us tickets to see George Strait, Reba McEntire, Blake Shelton, and Julianne Hough in the new Dallas Cowboys stadium on June 6th!! Now we need a babysitter. Grandparents?

Jason's New Glasses

Jason finally found some new glasses. It had been at least five years since he had gotten new ones. He never wears them, but he really needed to get some so he could let his eyes rest more. His doctor said it was not good to wear his contacts so much. So, we searched the world over and finally found some he likes. They are Oakley, like the sunglasses he wears.

They came with a "bold and manly" case.

Sunday Morning

We decided not to go to church today. Reagan is better, but still not 100%. We don't want to share our germs with any of the other kids. That is probably where we got it in the first place!
