Sunday Afternoon Race

After church, we all spent a few minutes outside. We have some great photos below (click them for larger versions) and a new video.

Sharing HD Video

As mentioned in the previous post, we are now shooting our videos in HD (courtesy of Rhonda's new point-n-shoot Canon SD980 IS). The videos are in 720p. We currently posting these videos in a private portion of YouTube, and we'll see if we like this option or not. When watching our videos, be sure to click on the "HD" button to watch it in that format. They video looks about the same to me either way, but you'll likely get a larger version of it (great for full screen watching). When we purchase the Canon 7D, we'll be able to post 1080p HD video.

It turns out that in order to view our private YouTube videos, you need a YouTube account. We currently don't have plans to make our videos public.

Color-Changing Shirts

Papa Earl sent the girls shirts from Florida that are black and white to begin with, but then show their color in sunlight. Once out of the sunlight, the shirts go back to black and white. (By the way, we're experimenting with private YouTube videos because they work better than Bloggers videos, such as showing videos in HD. We have an HD video camera now, so we'd like to take advantage of it with the videos we share with you).

The Lovely Jessica

We were able to meet Jessica and spend some time with her and her family today. We all think Jeff picked a lovely young lady to be his wife! Welcome to the family, Jessica!

Family Time

Pa Pa, Gran, and GranBob got back from Alaska yesterday. They brought the girls home some pretty little necklaces. We also got to visit with Uncle Jackie and Aunt Kathy at Laura's house. Their future daughter-in-law is in town for a wedding shower. This will be our first time to meet our new cousin, Jessica. We wish Jeff could have come also, but we will see him in Boston in October when we head up there for the wedding.

Card Making

Part of being a scrapbooker is that you end up with lots of extra paper scraps and embellishments. My friend, Missy, suggested I start making cards. I decided to give it a try for a wedding shower for my cousin, Jeff, and his fiance, Jessica. I think it turned out pretty nice!

Bathtub

Jason gave me a new camera for my birthday. It came in today and it is finally charged. The girls were getting ready for bed, so I snapped some quick pictures of them in the tub. Who can't resist a cute tub picture, right?
