Farm Girl

Reagan has been staying with Pa Pa and Gran this week. They spent the first few days at the lakehouse with GranBob. She had a blast there and then they headed to the farm house on Sunday morning. They went to church and said she did great. They said she sat quietly all through church. I want to know where this child is when she is with me! Pa Pa took her for a ride on the tractor today and she loved it! I am glad she is having such a good time and can't wait to see her.

Pa Pa even let her drive.

Rylee's First Day of Preschool

Rylee started preschool today. She did great! I was worried she would cry and we had just a short moment when I thought she was going to, but she got over it. When I left she was reading a book with a new friend. I got away without any tears also, so it was a great day!

Daddy had training this morning, so he did not get to go with us.
Showing off her locker.
She put her backpack in by herself.
This is the caterpillar classroom. It is really cute and she liked this little corner with cute little chairs and lots of books.
Rylee wanted to take a picture of Mommy.

Homework

When we went to meet the teacher, Rylee was given a homework assignment. She is in the caterpillar class, so we were given instructions on making a caterpillar for the bulletin board in her classroom. We raided Mommy's scrapbooking supplies and went to work.

Rylee thought it would be funny for Dad to take pictures of us flinging our hair. We are enjoying this special time alone with Rylee.
Here is the finished product. I think it turned out really cute!

Happy Anniversary!

Jason and I will be celebrating our 12th anniversary tomorrow! It is hard to believe it has been 12 years. We went to dinner at Macaroni Grill and then to see "The Proposal" at the movies. It was cute and a good "date night" movie.

Thanks for Pa Pa and Gran for keeping Reagan and to Laura and Brad for keeping Rylee.

To my sweet husband of 12 years, I love you so much. How much is so? Way, way more than you know! You are an amazing husband and father and I can't imagine my life without you.

Kyla's Birthday Party

We went to Kyla's birthday party at the Frisco Fire Station this morning. Kyla and Rylee are really good friends. We had a great time and it was educational also. I think the parents enjoyed it as much as the kids.
A fireman put on his safety equipment and told the kids to never be afraid and hide from them if they are in your house during a fire.

Daddy always has to get a picture of me.
The kids got to crawl up into the firetruck and look around. The parents had strict instructions if there was a call for them to go out, we had to grab our kids and get against the wall so the kids would be safe while they were driving away.
They have this antique firetruck in their firehouse.
Kyla, the birthday girl
Rylee had oreo cookies while the other kids had cookie cake. Rylee and her friend, Hailee, shared a chair.
Rylee gave Kyla a Webkinz pink pony.
Robin was so sweet to make Rylee a special goodie bag with candy that she could have.

Meet the Teacher

We went to Rylee's school to meet her teacher, Mrs. Akerley. She was very nice. We found Rylee's locker and she practiced opening and closing it. Most importantly, we found that the potty has a handle (no auto flushing!). We learned that in carpool line, they walk to and from the car with the teacher so I won't have to unload Reagan. It looks like it is going to be a great year!

Getting Ready to Meet the Teacher

Rylee really wanted to look pretty to meet the teacher, so we hot rolled her hair and got her all dressed up. She is really excited to see the school and meet Mrs. Akerley.
