The girls and I are at the lake. We got to celebrate Aunt Kathy's birthday today. We had lunch at Outback and Pa Pa helped Rylee scoop out the last bite of ice cream. The girls are loving spending time with the family. Rylee and Uncle Jackie have become buddies and she convinced him to crawl into the very back of the Expedition to sit by her. They are also loving on Teddy a lot and sent Daddy a video telling him they want a dog.
The girls love to sit on the front porch at the lakehouse. It's a pretty place to be!
We went to Hawaiian Falls with Brad, Laura, and Skylar. Also, joining us was Brad's sister, Jessica, her husband, Nathan, and their two little ones, Elijah and Elizabeth. We had a great time and Skylar thought it was great because she had all of her cousins there.
We packed an ice chest and here are some pictures of us having lunch.
We were all worn out by the time we got home. Apparently, Daddy needed a nap!
Two friends and I hosted two tables for Prestonwood's Women's Friendship Dinner. We had a good number of ladies there from our Sunday School class and also met a few new friends. Lisa Smith, who has Downs Syndrome, did sign language to several songs. I have seen her several times and she always amazes me. She has such a sweet heart and truly knows how to worship our Lord. Pam Kanaly spoke and brought a great message about the Bible being God's Love Letters to us. It was a nice night and I think our table turned our really pretty.
The girls wanted to sleep in the same room, so we put their sleeping bags on the floor in Rylee's room. They had a great time and are getting better at going to sleep vs talking for a long time.
They woke up with all smiles!
We went to the mall tonight and got our wedding rings checked, had supper, and went to the candy store. I am hosting a table for our women's dinner next week and I am making little pink boxes for our table favors. We are putting brown & pink M&Ms in the boxes. The candy store sells them by the color (at an unreasonable price!). So, while we were there we saw they had candy cigarettes. We used to eat them when we were kids, but thought they quit making them. So, we indulged (after the kids were in bed).
